LEASING PROCESS

STEP ONE

Welcome! Navigating homes for lease can be complex. At Indie Capital— we aim to make this process simple and rewarding. Upon review of the Qualifying Guidelines, feel free to browse the above available listings.  Please join our Interest List to be notified of new opportunities.

STEP TWO

Visit an open house or contact us, through the property listing, to schedule a tour. We do recommend that all properties be viewed in person prior to application submission, by all interested parties.

STEP THREE

Upon viewing and confirming interest, please complete the online application and pay the associated application fee— as provided in the property listing link. All prospective residents over the age of 18, along with applicable co-signors, will need to complete an application. The application fee is non—refundable.

STEP FOUR

Your application will be reviewed and responded to within 72 hours of receipt. Additional documentation or information may be requested at this time. We may perform a background and eviction check, run credit history, contact personal references and verify income and employment.

STEP FIVE

If your application is approved, a lease agreement is executed. This can be completed electronically, or in person.  Upon proof of renter's insurance and receipt of move-in funds, a walk through is scheduled.

STEP SIX

During the walk through, operation of property systems is discussed, as well as cleaning recommendations and an overview of our online client portal— for rent payment and maintenance requests. Keys are transferred!
